Who am i?
Good question, I’m still working this out to be honest. At this moment in time I am an energy giver, a calm generator, a lover, a fighter, an experience creator.
I love all things calming, as I find it hard to stay calm myself. When I see this trait in others, I can relate, it intrigues me, I see you.
Growing up, I didn't feel safe in my own body; it always seemed like a place where I needed to be better or someone else entirely. As a dancer you never felt quite good enough, quite strong enough, quite well, right enough. Now, I strive everyday to portray this sense of safety to my younger self, reminding her you are enough, you are loved, you are just right. And in here, Hearts Wellness, is where I work hard to create this feeling for others too.
I am a recovering self sabotagee, a yogi friend and followee, I like nature and naturals, herbs and fungi, and foods made with love and tea.
If you’re looking to expand, please take my hand, for expansion is my expertise.
I played small for so long, so understand not feeling strong. But, you are enough, you are loved, you are supported and here, if you allow yourself, you can be transported…
Why HEARTS WELLNESS?
My "why" for creating Hearts Wellness traces back to my much younger sister, Amber. She endured immense struggles with her mental health right from a tender age, feeling isolated and different. As she came into her late teens, things seemed to only get harder.
In my earnest attempt to support her, I founded Hearts Wellness in 2020, she was just 20 years of age.
Having experienced my own share of terribly dark moments in my 20s, I managed to develop this incredible toolkit of practices which derived from the magical practices within yoga. They thankfully bought me out of those shadows.
I so strongly believed that these practices could be a source of hope and support, not only for Amber, but also for countless others who might be facing similar challenges.
Heartbreakingly, Amber is no longer with us. She passed over to the heavenly realm 22.4.22 at the delicate age of 22. I believe she is at peace at last.
I'm immensely proud of what has been created here, as Amber lives on. Just as she did in life, she continues to help others with every click, every video, every breath we take together in this special space.
I hope her inspiration can be felt and cherished.
For you always little Amber x
